Anyone looking for a '64 356 Steering wheel, complete with emblem and horn mounting base, blinker switch assembly, with upper and lower clamps, and possibly column as well. I might also be removing the steering shaft since it'll probably be best selling everything as a complete unit.

The steering wheel is pretty good, the previous owner had it done up nicely, the switch is also in good condition, but the chrome is a bit pitted and could use some silver leaf to make it like new. I can easily do this for you ahead of time. The column is nice, black like the wheel and directional, the shaft is straight and just fine. If you'd rather, I can squirt the wheel, switch and column with a sweet desert tan or ivory, they all came black in the later cars.

Probably not cheap, but perfect for a nice cabrio and certainly will add a touch of charm and authenticity to the interior.

Just thought that I'd throw it up here, before putting it on Ebay.

I'm gonna replace it all with VW and after-market pieces. Since it's all goin' into a (mostly/partly) steel coupe, I don't have to worry about people askin' if it's a replica. I can pretty much do whatever I like and chalk it all up to "Outlaw" and get away with it . . . . think that I'll mosey on over to the Rennlist and chat with "my people" for a while.
