Available soon.  Take-out motor from a new Subaru conversion.

RAT2007074 engine number

1915cc type 1 built for me by Jake Raby, deep sump, full flowed, lightened flywheel, 009 w/ petronius, dual 44mm, DTM, fuel pump block off, full tins (Speedster set-up but can be removed for Spyder) 120hp

Ruins great, will have fresh carb rebuild using CB's new carb kit with Porsche diaphragms (better for ethanol), fresh valve adjustment (shipped with no oil but drained and cleaned and ready for oil).  This was set up for AC and I can leave the AC brackets on if desired.

$6000 OBO, complete engine.  I'll also throw in the A1 sidewinder and external oil cooling system if you want it

freight can be arranged at buyers expense, pick up also available at no charge

no charge for pallet/crate

I'll get around to taking some photos in the next few days and will post them here.

Oh it ruins great alright.........................ruins your wallet!!

Carey- What heads (stock valves and ported or 40x35)) and cam are in it? How high does it rev to with power? (I'm guessing 6,000rpm?)

Rich- As Stan said, this would so slip into Baby Blue easily (and be one h*ll of a lot of fun!).

Art- If you've installed a VW engine and can muddle with dual carbs, this engine would be no different.

Brian- You'll like what you're building better (especially if you take my advice and put on the Panchitos!),                                                                                                                                                                                      as there's no replacement for displacement...

re: shipping.  We ship engine to a commercial address in the $200-250 range.  Residential will add $50-100 depending on your location.  The carrier will also add another $50-75 if you need a lift gate.  Best case scenario $200, worst case is est. $425

I'll have to pull the file and get specs from the old Raby build sheets.  I can do that on Monday.
