Oh I'm here and thought this would be a killer engine to have, but I've already worked out the next engine build and some other stuff.

That's a really nice deal!  And you know it is as advertised!  Not in a hundred years could I know how to properly install this 1915.

$300 maybe less.  I paid like $200 from CA back in 2008.

I forget what I paid last year when Carey sent me Toms motor. It was reasonable. I paidn $130.00 to ship my transmission from southern California to northern California.

It will ship LTL.  If you have or know some that has a loading dock & forklift, it will be substantially less than a residential delivery.  I'd guess $400. Call around you can get quotes.  Carey can probably get you a good rate.

Carey- What heads (stock valves and ported or 40x35)) and cam are in it? How high does it rev to with power? (I'm guessing 6,000rpm?)

Rich- As Stan said, this would so slip into Baby Blue easily (and be one h*ll of a lot of fun!).

Art- If you've installed a VW engine and can muddle with dual carbs, this engine would be no different.

Brian- You'll like what you're building better _{(especially if you take my advice and put on the Panchitos!),}                                                                                                                                                                                      as there's no replacement for displacement...

Damn, I wish the Canadian dollar was on par (or close) with the US buck.

re: shipping.  We ship engine to a commercial address in the $200-250 range.  Residential will add $50-100 depending on your location.  The carrier will also add another $50-75 if you need a lift gate.  Best case scenario $200, worst case is est. $425

I'll have to pull the file and get specs from the old Raby build sheets.  I can do that on Monday.

You can often arrange for pickup at a transfer station and save $.  The engine is round 200# so two guys can handle it.

Or three old guys

If picked up at a Terminal (it would have to been shipped on a small pallet) , fork lift it into the back of a pick up.
