I wondered about that. Here's a possible scenario: Fellow says to himself, "Hey, I have this ol' dune buggy chassis sittin' around. I bet I could put a 356 body on it. Wouldn't that be cool?" Some time later: "Dang it (or somethin along those lines)! Damn thing doesn't fit. I guess I'll sell this mofo to some dummy what don't know no better."
