I noticed that the 2.5 l Soob is about 1.5" wider than the 2.2 and that's the reason I put a 2.2 in my early IM. My frame rails are 29" apart and the 2.2 is 28 & 5/8" wide.
I went 2.2 based on the engine builders advise. 200,000 bullet proof miles should put me 80 years of age:-)
