Scott, I was wondering why you said, that you wished you would of done more homework before purchasing the car? I am currently looking to buy a speedster. Is there something you recommend? I would be willing to purchase something like yours and get it shipped out to California. But I am not sure if to buy a new one or a used one like the one you are selling.
Thanks!
swing axels don't handle as good as a irs.
also link pin front doesn't ride as smooth as ball joints.
a 69 or 70 pan is the best to use.
myself i'm looking for a 65 or earlier with a stock motor
or near stock because i'm going to build my own motor later.
also 66 and newer need to be smogged every year and vw's always
fail at idle.
unless you scope the tail pipe before you go and richen it up
after your done.
if you still have it when the funds get here your in the running.
i'm still looking.
thanks
