I'm trying to understand the "sexy" part.

It's advertising. You're supposed to equate the car cover to a sexy red form fitting dress. See, they're exactly the same. LOL

No offense to the seller but I would have raised the price of the car $200.00 and included the cover in the sale. Or made a side deal for the cover after coming to an agreement on the car.

Gee, advertising! Thanks for educating me.

I like my car. I like my car a great deal, but I don't equate it to my wife or other women. I don't refer to it by a female name. I don't care if others do, that's fine and their business. That just doesn't have an appeal for me.

I get the whole advertising thing, after all I spent 30 plus years in the drug, genetic research and medical device business. No industry does it better.

And, I get the notion of equating sex in any way possible to promote a product, from a warning about the danger of four hour erections to beautiful, half naked women biting into a Carl's hamburger.

What I don't appreciate is the invasive nature of sexually charged advertising on TV and in the media that causes people to have to have discussions with their very young children about adult topics. Let kids be kids for awhile.

I am stowing my soapbox and going out to do some work on my Speedster.

Kawika

Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm getting ready to paint my car and was wondering why you would need 18 coats.

Mahalo and Aloha

Mark, The Body shop I took my car too told me the car had 18 coats of paint Blk with Red Pearl and clear coats too!  I don't know but the paint job came out so deep and outstanding!  In the sunlight it looks like cherry coke colored and night looks deep black.  I don't know I am just happy with the body and paint work from a shop in Hawaii called Midnight Auto Body.

Or surfing.  If I lived there I'd spend most of my time away from the computer too.
