Found a Intermeccanica ..Need HELP with the purchase price...

Thank you everyone for chiming in and all your great information on these cars. Honestly not sure what way i will go with this. Viewing the car this weekend. Only reason i'm hesitating at this point.. 

-need to look at the car in person and take for a drive.

-I Have only really been looking for a fixer upper.. basic motor, old paint.. sounds weird but i like to spend time in garage tinkering on cars. Doesn't have to me a IM,  just cruise to go have coffee, and run around to town in. I have a fast car already  so basic VW motor would be fine with. 

I know it might seem like the perfect car, but for me its finding the right one.

If for any reason i decide to not purchase, i will let everyone know. I'm sure it will be listed on Craigslist Vancouver, or Kijii.

Why does my engine look so different. Even the fuel injectors and intake manifold are on opposite side. Weird. Any water cooled VW experts out there?
