Its only about 74 cents a square foot but has a stock carpet backing on it. How hard is this to work with? Is it possible to sculpt this on the back fo the seats as well?

Veteranco.com has the oatmeal original square weave for 70 a yard (54" wide) how many yards would I prob need if I go this route? I have a CMC.

If it has a jute backing, it's going to be tough to mold unless you get a steamer such as the kind used to remove wallpaper. Get the jute material hot with steam and it will be easier but will still be tough to mold. Contact cement works best to adhere the carpet to the floor and hump. Make sure you get the yellow colored cement. If you get the water based stuff, that's junk. Weldwood makes the cement and "may" be availabe at that Home Depot off of Palm Ave. in IB.
Cut your carpet slightly large. Throw one piece at a time in the dryer on medium or high. WATCH CAREFULLY...

When the backing heats up, it gets much more limber. Hit it with the adhesive, give it a minute or two to kick (kicks faster on the hot backing) and put in place.

You will be shocked at how much easier it is to work with.
