An article in this month's "Los Angeles Magazine" about driving in L.A. has a side-bar piece on Frankie Muniz and his "Porsche Speedster." He calls it a 1956 Porsche Speedster which he bought after seeing "Ryan Phillippe driving a cool little car in 'Cruel Intentions' and thought I'd like to have one."
Nowhere does he say it's a replica, but the accompanying photo clearly shows that Frankie's ride is a Vintage Speedster. Visual clues include: the T-1 speedometer placement (on the left) like all VS's (our cars are really T-2s); the dash leather gap at the doors - always a tip-off; and those cushy Roadster seats.
By now someone must have told him that he's driving a replica...a very nice one, but, still...
