I am about 20 mins north of Atlanta in Woodstock. How often do all you guys get together? I wanted to go up to Road Atlanta last week but was in NC for a wedding. Shiiiiity!

Are most of the Beck's engines air cooled? I see that they offer the water cooled Subaru engine but, most of the ones I see online look to have different engines.

Most Beck's are air-cooled, although they've made several Speedsters with water-cooled Audi or VW inline engines. They offer a water-cooled Spyder as well.

Chase, we are spread out to the point in this area that we only get together a couple of times a year (Carlisle in the spring and the Smokeys in the fall). I would love to improve on that number. Leon Chupp lives in Gainesville, GA, which isn't too far from you.

Chase, I have also found the spouse only wants to ride when the top is up. Too much wind for her with it down. One other thing I have noticed is I tend to drive solo a lot because I can't get anyone to cruise with me. They usually have "other things to do" or are on their way to some other activity.I may have scared some of them away because this baby is very fast and sometimes I just can't ignore the dog whistle if another car comes near me that thinks he's faster. I'm coming into my first year of ownership and only have 3100 miles on it. One thing I don't do with it; park it somehwere where I can't see it for more than 3 minutes.They draw a tremendous amount of attention no matter where they go.Some of that attention might be from thieves. That limits much of my driving for erands and mall shopping or going to movies.
BUT,it's a total joy to drive and I've never thought of selling her.
