Darrell,

Check out "Hot VW or VW Trends" and you will note many "Front & Rear Disc Brake Kits".

You will notice they are offered for "Link Pin or Ball Joint" Front Ends. You will also notice the type of Spindle offered; Standard or Drop-Spindle. The Basic Kits are a couple of hundred dollars for the basic kits. Items you may wish to add are, New Bearings, Seals, Backing Plates and Braided Brake Lines. These items are usually extra from the basic kit. You can purchase Karmen Gia OEM VW Rotors and Calipers and then choose the type/design of spindle.

As for Rear Disc Kits, there are two basic kits, with and without emergency brake. The latter cost more.

As for Rotors, the basic kits are solid rotors without venting or cross drilling - more cost more!

You will need to set the front end up after doing the installation.

You also may consider installation of "Bump-Steer Shims" at that time if you Opt for the Drop Spindles.

Good Luck,

Jack Blake
