I dunno how often anyone thinks about their alignment. I recently noticed that my steering wheel was off center when driving straight, and I've also had a vibration issue at around 65mph, so I decided to run by my local tire shop to make sure nothing had worked loose or askew. Per Special Edition, I had them use '67 bug specs. Holy crap! Toe-in should be between 0.08 and 0.20 degrees. My left wheel was at -0.54 and the right was -1.10. The camber was also way out of whack. I didn't ask because it didn't occur to me until after I left, but perhaps the camber was affected by my lowering the rear suspension. Anyways, something to think about checking periodically?
