the gass filed are also oil filed, the gass is there to keep the oil from foaming so it can do it's job.just like rootbeer, shake the litere bottell and see how many bubbles there are...then uncork it and shake.bubbles dont dampen oil does. now clean up before your wife gets home.( you realy should of had enough brains to try this outside) and nitrogen is used because it is more stable to temp changes.and it is biger than air is so it dont tend to leek as bad.
and because there's very little weight in the front end of these cars, most people say to get the softest front shocks you can find. I did that and found my front end bouncing and jiggling a bit so I went to Koni's rated the same as for a stock 356 ( which is about as light in the front) and I like'em.
