i was adjusting the height of my front suspension yesterday and regardless of how it is set, the passenger side is always an inch higher than the right side!! can someone please explain to me what each of the three settings do: the lower allen set screw; the upper allen set screw that puts pressure on the hex bolt right above it?

any advice/ diagrams, etc would be appreciated.

My Ghia has this problem right now and it will be fixed this week. The front ball joints (top ones) are frozen. They fit in the beam and are connected to the leaves inside which create the torsion needed in your front suspension. If you have a frozen ball joint this would be the symptom you are talking about. To check, lift the car and see if you can move the ball joint up and down. Also when the car is on the ground, if you sit on the front fender can you make the car sit flat? Check you ball joints, beam and leaves. Maybe you just need to fill the beam with grease. THIS SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 3 MONTHS. There are 4 grease nipples for that.

I ordered a new narrowed beam, leaves and ball joints for the GHIA that should be here this week.
