Unfortunately, there is no factory stock adjuster for the front.

You'll need to install a "select-a-drop," "Empi," "Sway-a-way" or other brand of beam adjuster. This will require cutting and welding.

Usually, cutting and welding the adjuster to the lower beam is sufficient to achieve a dropped front end.
Often the old beams are rusted at either end - You can buy a new (non German though) beam with 2 mounted adjusters for around $250 (plus shipping and its heavy!). If you are looking at adding front disc brakes just get them with "dropped spindles" for about the same added $250.

The CMC build manual tells you how to cut, twist and reweld the front beam for low cost lowering ---- if you can weld.
The problem with just cutting and re-welding is you never know """exactly""" what amount of lowering you'll achieve. Yes, It can be done but for the few bucks it costs for a device that you weld onto the beam, it's just not worth the aggrivation of trial and error.

With an adjuster, you can fine tune the amount of drop whereas with the cutting and re-welding of the inner torsion bar beam holder, it's trial and error. (so much depends on the strength of the torsion bars contained withing the beam.
