My take -- not to be confused with The Gospel according to St. Electricitus:
Depending on how you wire it, you may have a combination of driving lights -- on all the time -- and turn signals, or you may have turn signals and hazard lights, each with their own flashers.
If you are planning on wiring it yourself and you want to use both fillaments, I'd use the lower wattage for the hazards and the higher for the turn signals.
The only reason I'd go with running lights instead of (or in addition to) hazards would be for the inherent benefit and insurance break, if that nets you one.
In that case, I'd again use the lower wattage for the running lights, and make sure to wire the low side of the tail lights the same way.
As I said, that's just my thinking.
Hi and heres another thing to concider

I know Stoddards offers 2 beehive lens the 356-a and the T-6? I think?.,, both will fit on the factory 56 and 57 base but. the T-6 is taller and allows more bulb clearance.

Id return the lens for the taller ones that could save you from a len melt down.

I'll post he hight measuements so you can check them when they arrive. Theirs a 50/50 change you could be allrealy correct.

I had to change mine for that very reason
