I just gotta say, I really like the cleanliness of a quality repro WAY more than a brownish-yellow patina of an original.
Those wheels a just . . . . creepy, you know . . . ? Like they've got old ex-nazi cooties all hidin' the the cracks. Who KNOWS where those old liver-spotted hands have been before they touched those steering wheels ! ? ! ? ! ?
A clean, crisp, ivory repro with a sweet, clear, brandie new "sun, moon and stars" horn button is TOTALLY the right move for me.
