Do you have some pics you could post? I've often thought about making a modified version but don't want to damage mine in the process so if I had an inexpensive spare that I could work with to make an easy plug that would be the way to go since the basic shape is already there. If it turns out nice, I would build a mold and have them available for others.
It does not currently have any mods like louvers, etc. Some spot bondo that was never sanded off.. I will post pics soon.

Here are dimensions and photos! Sorry, it is NOT in two pieces, that was my other one (not selling). Dimensions are approximate: The height centered over the grille is 18". Measuring from the outer exterior curve, widest part is 35-1/4". Narrowed part is 32" (before rounding off edges). Grille hole is 8-1/2"X14-3/4.
The primer (yellowish) is coming off in flakes in the grille area. Otherwise it is very solid and a nice start for someone adapting it...
Will consider cash or trades. Currently can use:
Top parts for high bow, 356 Tach real or repro, working or not, mechanical one is okay too (my car is electric- I will be modding it. driver quality/patina okay).
Black 356 switch knobs, defroster vents, top latches, engine lid grille, reflectors, window cranks with black knobs like old VW had. Door panels black or red considered or needing recover ok.
