My car came with five lug Gold FUCHS (see pic) and I really want standard chromies. They are in good shape. The Porsche caps have a few scratches but still look OK. Not sure what they are worth so if interested please make me an offer. I cannot deliver them until I receive my new wheels and because I have a storage problem at home will not order the new ones until I find a buyer for the FUCHS. Pretty complicated huh? My life seems to get that way too often lately.

Troy, you might want to try the 'stuff for sale' at Pelicans. Check out what the other people are selling Fuchs for.
See: forums.pelicanparts.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=17

If you want to go to smooth/356 rims do you realize that you have the wrong bolt pattern (unless you now have wheel adapters). The Fuchs are the small 5 bolt pattern. You need either a 'wide five' or the standard VW 4 bolt.

If you have the Porsche small 5 bolt pattern you could just pick up a set of chrome wheels from a 356C. They will bolt right on and look like you updated your speedster to disc brakes off a later 356. (This was done a lot on real speedsters in the past) You can also get nice 356C hubcaps for them with the Porsche crest.
Troy,

The Fuch pattern is 5x130, the five lug chromie VW is 5x205 and the later 356 chromie pattern is 5x130. (wide five vs. small five)

If you want to change to the wide five chrome wheels you will have to change front and rear drums or discs or run adaptors which I would not suggest. I know someone that has a used set of 5x130 chromies he may want to sell.

I also sent you a note offline.
