FS: Original 356A steering wheel

Anyone looking for an original 356 steering wheel? Dusty always seems to be looking to do an "originalification" on his Speedster, you still wantin' one?

Before putting up on Ebay or TheSamba I figured that I'd ask you guys first. It's the larger diameter wheel that was issued for the 356A Cabrios and Coupes as standard, but could be had for the Speedsters if specified. Great original condition, the finger grips have no wear at all on them. A tiny scrap/gouge on the back side but that seems to be it. I took these pics in the glaring sun to show any flaws, I didn't even clean it, or polish the rim or spokes, so that you'd get an honest view of it.

I figured that I'd give the usual suspects first crack. Then Ebay. I don't belong to the 356 Registry so selling there is out.

Not too worried really, one of you guys, Ebay, or The Samba. It's kinda funny, over the past couple of weeks, most of the 356 stuff and all of the Oval Window era Beetle parts that I've sold went to India and the Middle East.

Why mess with them? I find MOST owners of original cars are "car guys" and like ours almost as much as theirs. My local 356 club welcomes reproductions with open arms and I have found that in many other local porsche clubs. Please don't start a "war" with a few knuckle heads who have slanted opinions. That just gives all a bad name.

Never "said" that I wanted to mess with them. Not messing with 'em, just messing around over there. Hanging around, chatting, posting, that kinda thing. Like, "Wanna come over my place and mess around?"

But . . . . by and large, I don't get along with the basic Porsche guy. Just a thing I guess, no big deal.

OK, I will call them Meatheads in the future. Will all of you then stop referring to the male member as a "Johnson"? Come on, intention is more important than words. This is where PC came from and, I hope, nobody on SOC is really that sensitive..

Onward and upward with other topics..... For anyone interested I have alread started to deal with the good folks at Morro Bay to determine when we will be most welcome and what they can offer us for next year. More later.
