Package deal, this came off my 1600 that was in my VW Thing.  Sold the engine with stock parts, so these are available.  I only had these installed for a few hundred miles.  Everything shipped to the lower 48 for $150.00.  Flame thrower distributor with vac advance #D1865, spark plug wire #40511 & flame thrower coil (3.0ohm).  All parts are like new with original packaging and instructions.  Paypal prefered

Thanks for the photos, looks like the are in good shape. I am currently running a NON vacuum advance 009 distributer with a Bosch Coil and seem to be working well. I am not sure how to adapt a vacuum advance disty into my system and is that a better functioning disty than a non-vacuum advance version? Is there an advantage other than maybe a hotter spark? Thanks.

Dutch, what carbs are you running. The vacuum advance is designed to work with specific carbs, not a universal solution.

FYI, disconnect vacuum to distributor and plug the line(that goes back to carbs/manifold). Set the timing to 28-30 degrees at 3500. Then reconnect the vacuum and set idle speed. Don't worry about the idle advance. That is if you go this route.
