Well, I've finally decided to sell my baby... :(

It's got a 1 year old 1915cc with dual dellortos, very few miles on the engine. The car itself is about 10 years old, but I have gone through it pretty thoroughly in the last year.

New wiring harness installed by Kirk at VS last year, new seats, new brakes...

What it needs:

Gauge package: (just haven't got it down to Kirk to install new ones)
Carpet kit: looks ok, but I would replace it with loop if I were to keep it.

A few scratches on the body, nothing too serious or obvious.

Very fast.

Asking $15,000, obo. It's located in Bakersfield, CA.

Scott, (if you still come around here)
I watched it go last night on E-Bay.
Do you know what color red it is? Is it Guards Red (a porsche color)? It looked brighter or deeper.
Anyway, I'll bet you're gonna miss it. It's a real good looking Car.

Yeah, I'm going to miss it. I love that car! I finally decided that I REALLY would like to have a car I can drive more than half the time. Here in Bakersfield, it's either too hot or too cold to drive it, so I'm on the lookout for an S2000 or MR2 for my "fun" car. Something with air conditioning/functional heater...

That was a beautiful VS Scott. The MR2 is fun (Drove one for giggles at a local meet.). Hope you get back into another Speedster.

I have a complete air conditioning set -up that I pulled off my IM. Compressor, brackets, cooling condensor ($) for $150 if you want it. Working fine when it came off
I have been holding on to it for the day when I sell my IM.

Aaaah! Man, already sold the Speedster....

Anyway, found a 2002 MR2 with only 4,900 (!) miles. I pick it up on Wednesday.

I'll probably have another Speedster someday. Stopped at Starbucks on the way to L.A. to drop off the Speedster yesterday. It was parked next to my wife's 05 MINI Cooper S Convertable. They looked VERY nice together. Didn't have a camera with me, though. :(
