O.K. Sports Fans, Team Evil (aka TC) informed me after he responded to another post that what I have here might be valuable to someone. A long story, short: I got a great deal on eBay for these, but really only wanted the crests to rehab my center caps on my 911. I'm going to take the crests off and offer the caps to anyone who wants them for $40 (and I better say, plus shipping). They are brand new quality caps, highly polished with a diameter of 2.75" for the wheel hole, 2" total depth (1" into wheel, 1" exposed). They have three tapped holes for internal securing (not pry offs). I really don't know who the manufacturer is, but they are nice solid chunks of polished metal. I'd throw them on my 911 but they're not my '86 style and I'm really not sure what wheel they look best on. Mild Warning: I did attempt to see what they looked like on my FUCHS and they were slightly snug. A few turns on a lathe or some grinding and they would fit easily, I did have them partially into my wheel but didn't want to wedge them in any further. REMEMBER, THESE WILL BE SOLD MINUS THE PORSCHE CREST. This whole thing came up on a discussion (another thread) of casting epoxy horn buttons etc. So a Porsche logo could easily be resin casted into them. YES, A SET OF 4 BRAND NEW.
