Anyone out there who can tell me who makes or sells these wheels & if they are available in 15" X 5.5" with a wide-five 205mm lug pattern? Any help is appreciated as I have been unable to ID them even after 3 hours surfing the internet. I originally copped the photo about a year ago here on SOC. Thanks!

IIRC the bolts along the outer perimeter on that Fuchs rim makes it a 3-piece rim. Alpha9 has them available but they are $750 each.
The stock large VW and drum brake wheel pattern is 205mm
Porsche disc brake pattern is 130mm
Stock Fuchs alloys are 130mm as are most of the replicas ,
At one time someone made Fuchs copies with the large 205 pattern ,
the link above shows the 205mm copies
Added : the 205mm. copy alloys were made in the 1970s and were really not that nice
The casting was pretty rough and the spokes were too “squared off” and just did not look right , they were made in the USA , The ones made now look a lot better.

I'm 99% sure you copped the picture from Bob Carley. @Bob: IM S6 can you help this gentleman?

Nice link, Al.
Thanks for your help. Turns out the wide-five hubs protrude outboard so far as to require 2.5" tall center caps for clearance with a CIP1 or Empi "Fuchs-style" wheel. The only apparent way to avoid a somewhat hideous look is to swap out hubs & brakes at all 4 corners to accommodate the tighter lug pattern. This may be the only way to accomplish a cleaner, more classic Fuchs appearance using a VW wheel.

Nice link, Al.
I'm so glad you approve, Stan...
Yes, those are my wheels. Made right here (well, measured and installed right here) in Canada. It's a local company:

They will make wheels in any offset, size, shape, colour that you want.

Yep. But I still think of what my next car should be. Ain't it the truth...
It will be for sale someday, sooner or later.

Is it that time already Bob? I guess with the present environment it might be the time to get the whole investment out of it even if our money is worth less.

Mine too.
After I die.
Otherwise, I just don't get it.

Maybe it's just California dreamin', on such a wintry day.
I get it, every once in a while especially when my life gets busy an the car is a garage queen the thought comes but then I think about all the cars out there and there is NOTHING that appeals to me. What can I say so maybe Stan is right. Were done.
Maybe it is like...if you find a good one... you know... one shawl one wife your choice for life. :->
@Bob: IM S6 isn't much that will give you that rush of adrenalin of your IM6.

That's a fact, Jack!
Agreed. Every once in a while if my 550 has spent significant time in the garage, I'll VERY BRIEFLY ponder selling it. It's just a fleeting thought.
Then I drive it and smile. BIG and WIDE. Then once it's warm, I start driving it the way it's meant to be driven. Then I start to giggle a little.

Nope.
I'm buying that "someday" Thruxton in addition to the speedster.
A friend of mine here has a Thruxton. I'm not a motorcycle guy, but that is one gorgeous bike.

I like it. But yeah, I'm not gonna buy one. I'm done with my bike phase.
But I will be a little envious if you do get one, Stan.
.
More power than a 356 C90 and two less wheels, so it must weigh less, too.
Pity there's no room for the missus.
Zoom, zoom.
