I want to install a 0-15# fuel pressure gauge. Where is the optimum place to put it, and who makes one that has easy-to-read numbers. I bought one at Kragen, but it is small and a bit difficult to read.

Seems to me that one should be placed before the fuel pump, then another between the fuel pump and the carbs. Or....would only one be sufficient?

Barry - put just one between the fuel pump and the carbs, before the line splits to feed each carb. That way you are measuring the pressure the pump is delivering to the carbs. Go with the lowest pressure guage you can find. 0-10 lbs, even 0-5 if you can find it. You'll need fairly low pressure forthe carbs and the higher the guage reads, the less precise it will be (for 2-3.5 lbs example).

That'll Git R Dun!

Barry,
The electric fuel pump that I have for your car is factory set. It delivers 3 to 5 psi. Perfect setting for your carb's.

If you order and install a gauge, it needs to be between the fuel pump and the carb's. The pressure before the pump is "O"

BTW, unless you're installing the gauge for looks, it serves no purpose being in the engine compartment since you can't see it while you're driving.
