Fuel Tanks | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Anybody have the exact deminsions of the original fuel tanks put in Speedsters? I am thinking of having this guy fab me one.

I hate to send you off to the 356 Registry. or Jim Hines at klasse 356. but someone there should have that info. I have the Brent Johnson book with pictures but no specs. I'd call Jim.

All your fuel line fitting should be mid 60s beetle, they are almost the same except the 356 porsche had a shut off on the bottom of the tank. with a rod that went into the cab with a lever just above the tunnel.
