Fuels Pump , Gas Filter & Dual Carb Setup

I am seting up Dual carbs and need assistance.

I am running a standard 1776cc with dual baby weber carbs. The engine setup in nothing crazy, it's your standard VW Engine.

Is the is correct?

• The fuel line connects to the bottom inlet on the fuel pump


• The line coming out of the top outlet on the fuel pump connects the the fuel filter.


• The line coming out of the fuel filter connects to the top inlet of the first carb (in the back).


• The line coming out of the first carb (the bottom) connects to the top inlet on the second carb (in the back).


• The outlet on the second carb it stopped.


• Connect the outlet under the second air filter to the oil driplet.

Hi Todd.
Why put the fuel filter in the the same room with the motor? I suggest that you locate it under the car, in front of the fire wall, well away from any possible ignition source. (The smell of burning fiberglass does not appeal to me.)
