When I installed the fasteners for my full tonneau I didn't want to install the one just behind the windshield post or any in the door top.
Instead, I cut some short pieces of tubing that would fit in the side curtain sockets. Then, I screwed some tennax studs into epoxy putty. I happened to have some #8 nylon washers and I put one under each stud.
