As another option, anyone interested in a morning run to Crystal Cove (south of Newport Beach)? With an arrival early (before 7am) there's parking among the other "display" cars. After 7am, parking is among the more plebian transportation. It lasts about an hour, so there's time to get a coffee or ? at Starbucks on site and look at the other cool cars. Immediately afterword, a cruise down or up PCH or ?. Everyone's home by noon or before.

Hello Esther, actually that thread was talking about "Last" weekend the 4th and 5th of March.. and now it looks like rain again this weekend in the LA area for both Saturday and slight chances for Sunday as well. we will continue to post and update this site because we need to get together here with all us "Newbie's" and the Veterans like Jimbo and Vince... Even just a chance to sit and talk about cars and "Pick" these guys brains would be worth the drive!

Hey Esther!

As Dan P. mentioned, the Crystal Cove meet happens every Saturday morning between 07:00-09:00 am (no Sunday meets there). It's on PCH between Laguna Beach and CDM/Newport Beach. I guarantee you there are no other (informal) car meets like this one in the USA. Usual attendance, Ferrari's, Aston Martin, Bentley's, Lamborghni's, Mercedes, Porsche's,Hot Rods, customs, motorcycles, all high-end. My Speedy cost what four wheels & tires cost for these exotics. Several hundred people mill around looking and talking car talk. Lot's of fun! I've attached a few pics for a glimpse of the event. Hope you can make it sometime.
