Thought I'd pass this deal on for those who extend the MADNESS to their garage!  I've always wanted to put the diamond plate tiles down in garage in a checker board pattern but you add up the tile cost, shipping and time to lay and you have big bucks on the floor. Hurry if you want to order as it will go fast.  Only in the 8x20' gray diamond plate pattern rolls.  Free shipping to local store.

Grey PVC diamond plate 8x20 roll flooring ½ price --- only this size on sale.  Free delivery to local store.  I got 2 rolls. It goes in/out of stock so if it says not available - try again later.

Is it made in China?

HD Reviews:

1)It looks very nice when first installed, much nicer than a concrete floor but....I was under the opinion it was safe to drive on. There are now tire marks almost as if the hot rubber tire could have burnt the flooring. If there is away to get these marks off I sure would like to know. I tried bleach, soap water, goof off, goo gone and the marks don't even fade. Im also a disappointed because I have noticed to small rips but I haven't the slightest idea how the rips were made because they were not there at the time of installment

2)Good product but be forewarned that it has 2 drawbacks for use in a garage. First it has a soft coating that easily tears off or is cut by dropping a tool or putting a jack stand down. Second , some motor oil stains the gray surface yellow and doesn't want to come out. I thought a garage product would be tougher.

I would think that moving a rolling floor jack on that stuff would be difficult, at best, when the jack is unloaded, and almost impossible if you have substantial weight on the jack, like an engine or transaxle you're maneuvering into place.

The guy across the street from my Bro-in-law in Palm Coast, FL, had 2-part epoxy (Sherwin Williams) paint in his garage when he drove back home from Miami last Summer and parked in the garage with hot tires.  The heat caused the tires to stick to the paint and they ripped up patches of concrete about 1/8" thick and the size of your hand when he moved the car the next day.

I had Race Deck flooring in my 40x60 shop in WA. Made a big mistake in not taking it all with me when we sold the house to move to CO.

Race Deck is great, pretty much un-destructible, automotive fluids, etc. do not affect it, pricey though.

I had some of that HD diamond plate mat in our 3 car garage when we lived in Monument, CO, it looked great when first installed...it was worthless, jacks got hung up on it, brake fluid or cleaner if not cleaned up right away, ate it up. Never again! Plus it tended to buckle up if you turned the wheels while sitting upon it...

We built a custom, water front home on Bainbridge Island, WA for a client in '99. Big home, 6br, 6 bath, with a 'mother-in-law apt over the oversized 2 car garage. The house was U shaped w/a oversized 2 car garage on one wing and an oversized 4 car garage on the other.

The client was a collector and owned four near priceless vintage/antique cars, a early '30's Alpha, a boat tail Auburn, and Maserati coupe, and a Ferrari Daytona (only one I ever saw was the '63 Ferrari Daytona 250 when it was being unloaded from the transporter, rest of the time they were all undercover).

The 4 car garage was every car guys dream 'man cave', ceilings tall enough for a lift, a seating area with a wet bar and custom cabinetry and a huge flat screen plasma tv and stereo system. There was radiant heat in the ceiling, as well the floor had radiant heating under imported 18x18 black and white marble, insulated walls all textured and everything was trimmed out. At the ceiling we coved out and had installed 16'' wide mirrors, angled toward the floors, it was wired for custom, adjustable lighting that shown up each space. We built in custom cabinets just like what was installed in the main house and work benches and the tops were covered with polished SS. Plus it had a small bath w/stool, urinal, shower stall and a changing room. There were if I remember right either 6 or 8 sky lights for natural lighting and the south facing wall had fixed, 16x48 windows all along the top of the wall just below the eaves.

I think that house just because of that garage is one of the best homes I ever built.
