Hi I have a gas tank that I relocated the filler to the center...have a pin hole leak in the upperside where I welded it, I tried JB Weld does seem to work,,can you suggest a solution dont want to weld again..............Than you

Red Kote fuel tank sealer? Seems to be popular for pinhole leaks in cycle tanks.

replace the tank with a new one... or if your brave fill it full of water and braze the pin hole.. best if done by a skilled artesian. but can be done.

If you have one pin holes others are waiting in the wings to show up...and they will. It's cheap $ for a new tank, replace it for peace of mind. ~Alan

He seems to be saying that the pinhole was the result moving the filler and welding it in the new location.

If he did the same thing on a new tank he could have the same problem again.

I coated the inside of my tank with epoxy from Caswell Plating.
