I've installed a new electronic sender in my gas tank ( review to follow) and it does not ground to the tank, in fact the tank is not grounded at all. Should I run a jumper and ground the body of the gas tank or not? Thank you.

i think the bolts holding the tank down ground it..i remember a wire going to one of bolts w copper washer on top
In my car a VM car the tank is bolted to the fiber glass. The only ground would have been to the stock sender through a mounting screw.

No.
Just run a ground wire to the tank sender. I don't think any of us have run a ground strap to the tank itself. The sender should have two wires running to it; "hot" going to the gauge and ground to a metal frame point.
Thanks Gordon that’s the way I have it. My sender has those plus power to the slender.
