As I was changing my black nob on my Vinatage speedster to ivory the black one broke and the new vw ivory is to big. The new one is a VW 10m. Does anybody know where to get a replacement nob in ivory (Kirk is sending me a black replacement)or is there a bushing that I can use ? I guess the lever isn't a VW !

Make a bushing - check your local ACE hardware store for nylon spacer/bushings in different sizes.

If you need to go from the 10mm thread to something else goto McMaster.com and do a search for....

Threaded Insert or Helical Insert (Helicoil) or Thread Repair

Dick is on track....It takes 10 minutes to fabricate a nylon bushing.
