How do you tell a real Nardi from a fake? I have on that came on my VS. I switched to a banjo and want to sell it. It has a number stamped on the back that the Nardi website showed a valid number but anyone can stamp a number. Thanks, Frank

I've always been under the impression that Kirk got his replica Nardi steering wheels from Vintage Speedster Parts, but you might be right.
I guess we'll never know for sure, Troy. I suspect that all three of them draw on the same basic source.
Just for grins, a 10-minute search on Alibaba turned up this wheel for $60, and it can be ordered in small quantities at that price.

I’ll post a front and back picture. Mine says Nardi on the front and has a production number on the back.
@Troy Sloan and @Sacto Mitch. Have either of you switched out the horn button on the 14” steering “Nardi-look” steering wheels. I’d love to get either a St. Christopher, golden lady or sun and moon horn button from ISP. Just don’t know if they fit.

Mitch, interesting find. A British styled wheel with a Italian bolt pattern:-)
I guess it's possible that it's a replica, but I don't think so.
Great, thanks.
Looks real to me - I like the fatter grip over the really skinny one.
My understanding was that the real ones were signed on the front and said "made in Italy" on the back . Mine does , but who knows.
I really like mine and I wish I could put them on my other cars.
I think it is interesting that the hole pattern is different the way it was drilled on the two wheels. The "British" style has a hole at the center bracket, where as the Nardi wheel has two holes straddling the center bracket. So, Is the Italian Nardi wheel the Italian bolt pattern or is the "British" wheel the Italian bolt pattern? Or both and one will just be offset the way its mounted . How many bolt holes are on a "British" wheel?
