Hypothetically speaking, What if an American Speedster owner drove his car into Canada for a visit. And while he was here I bought it from him. I would gladly take him to the airport and get him a ticket home. I would then get a safety check done and register it in Ontario.
Any thoughts on that scenerio ?

I would not recommend that. I think that they are keeping track of all vehicles that cross the border.

I know a couple of guys that went to Bulgaria on vacation, during their time there the car was stolen. When they tried to leave the country customs didn't believe them and the police arrested them. They got out a week later but they said they are never going to return to Bulgaria.

I don't think the same would happen here, but if I were American I wouldn't do it.

I think your best bet is to take a kit that is not completed.
Check the Cobra manufacturer Factory Five and their page describing how they have been selling kits to Canada for years. It is a special kit contain less than all their US kits.

Ha - 3 Million illegals enter US each year -- and y'all can't get a Speedie out of the country! How about cutting a fiberglass body in half by the door openings? Import the rear section as a couch and later the front as an executive desk? I recently found FF Avenger GT12 cut into 19 pieces that fit in a Chevy Suburban --- unfortuantely in Orlando, FL.

There are Speedsters in Canada already that are for sale. The problem is importation of the car into Canada because of stringent safety rules. So do yourself a favor and find one already plated and take ownership of that. It may be frustrating but there isn't much hope getting around it. Importing pieces won't work either because they will need to old registration of the car, serial number of a pan/frame etc..
