Interior is almost wrapped up and windshield is installed. Mike has the car running/starting, headers need final welding before anything more than just firing it up. Several small details to go, but we are on track.

Just terrific, Joe!
Wow! That tank... Beautiful!
The details are stunning , like the back seat hump idea too!
Thank guys , I have been dreaming about this for some time. Carey, Mike, Bill, Randy, Brad and and rest of the crew at Special Edition deserve all the credit for putting this together. Carey put about 15 miles on her tonight and she ran great. He is going to raise the front about 1/2-3/4" and lower the rear 1/2" or so. The interior and top will be wrapped up in the morning then he will be driving the rest of the day, making a final punch list, etc. she'll be done tomorrow and delivered Saturday.
Happy Father's Day to me.
That is beautiful!!
Excellent. Most excellent.

Car looks great, Joe!
Is the hump functional (more tranny clearance) or just for looks?
Becks have always had the tranny hump (insert jokes here) so I assume it's there for clearance.

I would say something because the door is wide open, but I wouldn't want to be the guy that tries to find a funny photo for that comment. Can you imagine what would come up on your computer screen if you Googled, "tranny hump"? You'd have to throw away your computer.

SWEET! And you don't even have it yet.
Believe it or not it was a breeze, even was able to get extended antique plates which are cheaper.

That was the one thing we didn't talk about, Joe! I'm so glad you got them, and it went smoothly. I've got antique plates (100% legal, gents) as well, and I've driven to the west coast twice on them.
That's EXCELLENT!
Oh my gawd, those wheels! This is going to be one gorgeous car, Joe.
X2 re: the wheels.
Beautiful.
