I's easy to figure out, Ray. $75 US plus say $30 shipping etc, maybe $15 brokerage times 1.4 for exchange and you'll easily see $168 Cad. I'll get a detailed email confirmation soon.
Car-Tastrophy averted!!!
NAPA-Dave, the same guy who donated some stuff so I could make el-cheapo gas gauge dampeners for the SOC, called me and said my battery had arrived and was waiting out behind the store and since he knew I was bringing the core in he waived the core charge AND gave me the fleet rate for a nearby truck service center. He also said his parts business is booming to repair shops around us, so that's lotsa good.
I stopped at the Dunkin Doughnut drive-through on the way over there, got them a dozen large brownies, left them with the old battery and told him they were there. They deserve 'em.
Looks like the world is figuring all this mess out and being creative, too.
Well at least you get it home and no border crossing or trip needed to pick it up.
I have bought some stuff from the USA and just bit the bullet as well sometimes shipping is bigger than the cost of the item.
One thing that has happened though is that Amazon.ca had a price, but amazon.com had a really low price and with exchange shipping and all it ended up costing me $20 less then buying it at the .ca, sometimes not having taxes to pay or brokerage or something works out cheaper...Got to do the checking in all of this.

Chris reminded me that I could buy my Wix oil filter online at Amazon - something I would probably not have done a while ago. They were about $9 US each, but the site I found them at would only provide free shipping for orders over $25. Easy enough - Order three of the buggers!
I will soon have a three year supply and my maintenance can "spring" ahead.
Now, after returning from Hawaii, if I could only get a "Dole Whip" delivered......
