Not in the teardrop, but if you go to the beehive the Lucas units look extremely similar and are actually nicer in many ways.

Hey Cory, go for the hi intensity LED bulbs....almost no heat at all....
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm for one place, you will need a special flasher for led turn signals, but you can get those from Speedway for about $10 as I remember....
Turn signal issues with LED bulbs
LED brake/tail lamps will not flash with thermal flasher units due to their extremely low current draw. These installations will require an electronic flasher unit, available in our car bulb shopping category (for some vehicles) or at your auto parts store. Try to find flashers designed to work with LED bulbs, they will say "LED compatible". Often HEAVY DUTY flashers will also work with LED bulbs.

Yes they will fit just fine in the same exact spot. You want to buy the entire assembly as it is all necessary to work together properly.

Thanks for that post! We have (yet another) project that honestly is somewhat on the back-burner... Anyway, it will use a pair of Ford Focus 3rd brake lights as tail-lights/turn signals/brake. The link you provided gave the info and parts to make this work with basically ZERO hassle on Steve's behalf.
