Glass Windshield with Frame or Plexiglass Windscreen?

Building mine with 356 glass and working windshield wipers with the idea of making it just a leetle more street (and with the further idea that it may need to be inspected for title/registration purposes). Always looking longingly though at those Lexan singles, since they look so right.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Always do what's best for you and not others... You either like bugs in your teeth or you don't.

I was originally going to go with a single Plexiglas windscreen and also a double  Plexiglas windscreen which would be interchangeable.  No wipers.  But better senses prevailed  and I got a conventional windshield with wipers.  I personally think the Plexiglas screens look better but after years of motorcycle riding I'm done with bugs in the face. 

I've driven lots of miles with the glass windshield. I'd recommend it for the wind and object protection.

If you're 6'1" you may be low enough, depends on your torso/leg ratio. I'd suggest mounting the seats flat on the floor with no adjuster tracks, that will save you 1.5" or so.

Come to Carlisle in May and try a few cars on for size.
