Glove Pockets

Given the shortage of storage space in our Speedsters, I created two "Glove Pockets" made out of Sunbrella fabric and mounted them with Velcro above the heater vents, one on each side.

It's not a lot of space, but it's enough to store a few important items and that space is unused.

Very nice idea.

When I made door panels for my CMC I cut a ~4x6" opening in each one - there is a tremendous amount of open dry space in the door cavities. I plan to carpet the bottom to protect cameras and phone and even add a hidden cup holder or two. Ha, more room in the two doors than the front trunk! There's also alot of empty space behind the rear seat back (great place for a gas heater).

nicely done. I like the fact that when you walk away from the car, you can peel the pockets off and stow them under the hood relatively safe from sticky fingers.
