Glue? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Is there something specific I should use to glue the dash pads back on the dash? It looks like they were originally put on with rubber cement. I scraped off as much as I could of the old stuff but I'm not sure what to use to reglue them. Thanks

Mine are screwed on through the dash with 10/21 screws and nutz

...."dash pads" are you talking about the 2" wide strips?
If so they are made of a hard rubber it will accept a screw (carefully)from the back of the dash and a bit of 3M contact cement. The dash vinyl? The 3M contact cement will also work well. ~Alan
