Welcome, Robb - you're taking the same route I took of Dune Buggy to Speedster - mine were 30 years apart, tho!

Hang in there with the flooding - shouldn't you be building a boat?????  And Cornwall, down there in the Southwest, must be in the thick of it!  Pretty country down there, though.....

Not completely familiar with the Pilgrim body - is that the one with a slightly bigger rear seat?

Many of the Speedsters on this side of the pond (CMC/Fiberfab/Street Beast/Vintage Speedsters) have the same body dimensions so we get a Hartz Stay Fast Fabric top from Vintage Speedsters (around $500 USD).  Don't think that would fit if your body is slightly longer.  If you need them, it shouldn't be a big deal to send along some measurements from our cars over here for you to compare - just ask.

We also use the CMC build manual that is on this site under the Resource tab up above, but you must be a "contributing member" to get to it.  It's an OK manual, and we can help with filling in the background info.

Looking forward to seeing your build!

Thanks Chaps for the warm reply. The body don't arrive till 3rd March, I got most of floorpan done. I know I have allot of fab work to do to support body but I don't know what yet till I get the body, got no manual yet. I really am excited about this even though I'm 65, must be a testosterone thing haha. Thanks Gordon for your offer of parts help, I do buy most of my VW stuff from the US, so much more affordable even though the shipping kills, if only that was cheaper, I'm sure the trade make $ from it to, a private send would be cheaper. Well the Buggy Body went to a good home, I just hope he builds it back up again. Picked up all my steel ready for the space frame, WOW man, so happy. Well I'm gona have some food now, later Guys. and again, Thanks

Robb
