Good Brakes and Fuchs on VW Front end.

HI Guys and Gals,

A friend of ours is building a 550 spyder with VW front beam. He wants the best brakes he can get and to use Fuchs wheels.

What is available for him in the brakes/hubs department that would be a disc brake upgrade from the VW and allow Fuchs wheels (5 lug)?

Have you seen the ads for Bad Brakes by www.AIRKWELD.com. They make their own rotors w/any bolt pattern you want. They use KGhia, Wildwood or Brembo calipers. Their ad is in the latest Hot VW. The ad says prices start at $650.
