The CMC is a bit smaller than a VS, and I'm not sure how that compares with an IM or Beck, and the dual grills on later 356 B's are just a tad smaller. None of them are direct replacements unless you stay within "species" (e.i; CMC for CMC, VS for VS, etc.).

Mike, I have two CMC cast-aluminum ones; one for use with my luggage rack, and one for just bee-bopping around. The two of them are different from each other.
Both fit into the space in the decklid, but one has a little more curve to it, like a 32nd of an inch, and the mounting screw holes are in different locations.

I bought one of the inside rearview mirrors from "jbtrades" and found that it would not swivle on the ball joint mount.
