It looks like the picture was taken at the Mokuleia Polo Farm on Oahu. Folks don't accidentally wind up there, so chances are the car is in the hands of an owner who doesn't skimp.

Once upon a time, we used to go there on Sundays with my Grandfather. I stomped divots between chukkers. My older brother tried without success to get a job as a valet.

For $5K, I'd think it's a pretty good deal. Bill, would you have a guy to take it to Kauai for you?
From the seller, Car has new euro (higher compression) pistons installed about 1000 miles ago, new tires less than 500 miles ago. During the rebuild I replaced the front rubber engine mounts with solid aluminum mounts and unfortunately, they allow a bunch of engine vibration into the cabin especially during off throttle deceleration. Since then I have purchased new original rubber mounts to re-install but have not done so. Car has 150K miles and runs great. A original color re-spray took place before I owned her and the paint still looks fresh. I've done all the maintenance on her and she's always had synthetic oil and super unleaded fuel. The Mahle "stove burner" wheels are rare.
The heater boxes have been removed as they were rattling (and I don't use the heat) as have some of the emissions equipment (which I still have and it all works).
This is a solid car, but an older car. Now that I have a 3 person family, a 2 person car without A/C doesn't get used much.
Come on by with cash and drive her home.
Thank you for your interest.
Cory, pics are on the Big Island (North Kona Coast from what I see)
Shipping it over to Kauai is not bad.
I had a '72 that I bought new - added Bilstein shock and F&R anti-sway bars with Michelin XAS tires --- handled curves like on rail tracks. Rust od chassis is be destroyer. Think it wasn't til 76 that Porsche went to galvanized lower chassis steel (maybe 75 - or maybe never for the 914 since it was then the end of the line for it. Looks like Mahle or Pedrini rims. PS You can occasionally find used AC kits - they were dealer installed so not a difficult conversion (although I'd go with a modern rotary compressor and R134).
