This won't mean much to you Southern Boys and West Coast Lads, but up here today the temp is supposed to reach 45F.  That's good enough for me to fire up the Speedster for the first time this year.

Hopefully, we'll get a couple of days like this, all the snow will be gone, and the driving season will begin.

The car started up from its long winter sleep just fine.  Just have to wait for the sideroad to dry up a little, and I am off!  It's been a long winter - not a bad one, really, but still in terms of days,  it adds up.

I've been wanting to try out my new shiftknob:

Happy driving to all of you, too!

Fun in the snow?  Well, the Speedie has never and will never get that chance, but my daily driver coupes took on much of it between living in DC and Pittsburgh, back in the day.  Don't believe I was ever truly stopped by too much snow.  Would just keep on pushin' through it.  One particular Xmas vacation running back to school on the PA turnpike high up the mtns with snow almost too dense to see through.  Just kept flashing my brights and passing the less fortunate.
