Hi, My name is Biff (my wife's name is Cec (pronouced Cease), short for Cecelia), Well this past weekend, I attended the Carlise Speedsters meets Spyders. Lots of cool cars and met a few people. Those that I got to talk to were all so nice. I also met the nice folks from  Beck and bought the lovely Cream Carrera they had. They're doing a couple of things for me and should take delivery in the near future. I look forward to meeting more of you and just thought I'd introduce myself.  Biff

Well, HI THERE!

I have the Pearl White Speedster with the Burgundy interior at Carlisle.  Can't remember meeting you, but then I missed about half of the people who showed up - the group is getting just that big these days.  We're now a far cry from the 12-16 cars that showed up in 2004!!

As you know, we're all spread out across North America (and include a few in OZ and Europe) so this is really our one, BIG get together each year.  Glad to have you aboard and "Welcome to the Madness".

Where are you located?  You're buying a great car from a VERY reputable company and I'm sure you and Cec will enjoy it, especially if you get together with other SOC'ers in your area throughout the year.  I'm in central Massachusetts and I am:

Welcome!!did you bring any cookies?? first visits require cookies to be delevered. and no nuts please as we have plenty hear as it is. ok well all thats not realy true but it should be.(the cookies part, were still mostly nuts, well some of us are...maybe just a few nuts.....ok it's just me, but Im open to new menbers in the nut of the month club!!!brownies are fine too!!

do you know what a brownie with nuts is called?????  A cub scout.

Yes, welcome, and congrats. Don't be afraid to ask about anything on here; despite the occasional bit on nuttiness, between the crowd someone will know what you need. And when 4 of 5 voices in my head say "go for it", I go for it! Gotta watch out for that last one though; he's a dark little SOB....Al

Good one Mark; I didn't send anything through my nose but it was a great way to start the day!

well atleast it was a girl scout and not one with nuts we like homade cookies too, but make sure she washes her hands first...... just come as you are we dont mind, and see how many miles you can put on your speedo, just remember they were made to be ridden, oops driven, and driven a lot, driven hard, driven offten.darn I cant waite to finish mine up and drive the heck out of it.

Ron, you're asking Biff what his name is short for ?  You just changed your  AVATAR or what ever it is called from a nice pic of you doing some Marathon somewhere ( which some might really appreciate ) to some dumb ass yellow stump looking thing with blue napkin covering his nuts. Here's Ron O in a bib asking what Biff means Anyone....anyone ....Bueller...Bueller..........          Ron ? :-_)of course...........

Biff is just a nick name my folks gave me a loooooong time ago. There were just too many "Bill's" in our families (7, I think). But oh my.... fast forward 20 sum years and when I met my wife the Yuppie movement was in full swing and so all her friends started calling her "Muffy"...... and to think she still married me? Now here's a stretch I just thought of....... maybe they knew some day I would own a Speedster, why you ask? In the movie "Death of a Salesman" the lead (Willy Loman) was played by Jimmy Stewart, and who played his son? ... Bueller?... Bueller? yep James Dean and although everone associates him with the 550's he was know to play with 356's as far as a few things I've picked up..... Damn that just popped into my head... I better find out what's in the cookies, huh?

so how about a pic of your muffy&speedy biff !? and dont came back with a lame exscue of something stupid like you dont have the brains to be able to post pics, thats ones already taken....by me.... of corse.... no brownies just nuts.

hmm do you happen to like v8 street rods&prostreet&drag race cars?like a hmm lets say a ...street roadster?? remember "anyhing worth doing is worth overdoing!!!"

It's interesting that the shotgun rider in the vehicle the 550 collided with (and he had the best view) swears that the passenger in the 550 was wearing a white t-shirt...and that could only have been Dean... unless after the gas station fillup he traded t-shirts with his mechanic!

But the media ignored that testimony... preferring to view Dean with a tragically romantic Achilles Heel, and putting him behind the steering wheel instead.

Mark, The Speedster is a bucket list thing, seems like the right time. another bucket list item is a highboy roadster, of course the quintessential 32 is at the top of the list, but I always like underdogs and a Model A on duece rails hits a soft spot. If you look on Facebook for Biff Prinkey, there is a few pics of some toys, one being the 39 Chevy. Owning that l've come to enjoy more room then most roadsters so I got a bright idea last year to find a 2 door sedan and whack the roof off to make a phaeton (4 place roadster). I've been helping a friend build a roadster pickup from scratch and I found a 31 Oakland (shell) and we we're going to start with that. My friendship with him is saddly a bit tenious now so I don't know about the future of that. Maybe some day, we'll see. Not really into prostreet stuff (appriciate them) but I like hot rods driveable (Flatheads sound soooo good, just like shovel head Harley's) but small block chevy's seem good choices to me when traveling and possibly needing parts on a sunday afternoon 2 states from home. Guess that's my practical side talking (damn I hate when he gets out).... Pic's? Oh noooooo

pull up 27 streetroadster on racing junk.com, from shalimar fl. all of my stuff has and always will be streatable.even my 618hp small block street car hit the highways/byways,allys, dragstrips, beaches everywhere & was daily driven, not trailer queen.if it's got wheels & a engine drive it. if you dont drive it and it runs why have it.

and it can be configured to do just about any thing you would want, not just prostreet.

wish i could finish it, I miss racing so much my head is about to explode.untill it's all gone I wont even uncover the 356 to look at it. the 356 sits under a car cover under the carport untill the grage/shop is empty of v8&race parts& roadster. althou the 356 would be sweet with my 618+hp small block&race trans in it.....crap now I have new **** to think about in my head.

Hi my name is mark....Im an addictt.....never enough power...never enough speed...never enough $$$....never enough room....never enough power....never enough $$$$... never enough equipment, and never enough time. I am not in recovery.
