My loss is your gain! Going through a divorce and need to sell my beloved Porsche as part of the settlement agreement. I'm willing to entertain any reasonable offers. In the spirit of full disclosure for all the people here I paid 15K for it and I've put about 12K into it so far. I'll most likely put it on eBay as well with a starting bid price of 20K OBO to see if it generates any interest.

'72 VW Chassis (no rust whatsoever)
356 Widebody (CA Flared Fender) Guards Red Color
"Phone Dial" Alloy Rims
Approximately 2400 Miles on a recently rebuilt 1600 engine (cruises at 75 no problems)
New front suspension beam (done in December 2008)
Rear suspension reinforced for larger engine (done in September 2007)
IRS
3/4 sway bars front and back (done in July 2008)
New shocks (done in July 2008)
New 1500 lb Kennedy Clutch (done July 2008)
New 3:88 "Freeway Flyer" Transmission w/reverse lockout and welded 4th gear (done July 2008)
Front disc brakes/rear drum
All new wiring for electrical systems done in 2008
Brand new Alpine deck with Focal 6.5 component speakers (hidden deck under the bench seat in the back)
Includes all badges, indoor and outdoor car covers
Car weighs approximately 900lbs.
I have all the paperwork of the additions I made to the car and the paperwork on how it was built.

Meticulously maintained and has never seen rain. It's been garage kept for the 2 years I have owned it (I'm the second owner).

No dings, scraches, or blemishes. This car has been done extremely well with a lot of attention paid to details. I've used it as a daily driver in the summer so it's also very reliable and it's a blast to drive.

The last addition I wanted to make was putting a 2332 engine in it. The entire car has been redone to accomodate for the engine to give it good performance.

Here's the problem; I'm in the middle of a move and all the pictures are on my computer that isn't connected yet. However, if you would like to view it, test drive it or whatever we can arrange for you to see it. Otherwise, I have to wait for my internet connection to be installed on Saturday before I can get on my computer with the pictures.

Any other questions, let me know!

I've seen Jim's car.
1,900 lbs. is probably right. I also know the shop where the work was done last year, and I'll vouch for it. Good looking car, honest seller and a fantastic deal at $20K.
It absolutely looks like a pin-up girl. I'm pretty sure the pictures won't do it justice.
Good luck, Jim. Sorry you're selling it.
