These are the kind I had in two of my 356s and I eventually found for Butch. In the end, they were too refined for the direction I took Butch, but for a lot of classic speedster replica and roadster builds these beat the hell out of the Vintage and JPS offerings... I had good success with the Pep Boys vinyl spray as I bought red, (saw a red door and painted it [them] black)and redid them black

If Danny buys the IM in New York, those'd be viable replacements for the water-damaged ones he's going to inherit. Maybe it'd be cheaper for him to go to a saddlemaker (ala Dusty?) and ask for a set to be made in black?
What would you pay by the hour for custom leatherwork, apart from materials?
