You could probably cut the elastic at the bottom of that thing so it drapes around the tunnel, that's what I did. I'm using a black suede boot with red stitching I found at Pep Boys, it looks a lot better than my handbrake boot. I picked up one of those Hurst rubber shifter boots so I could use the chrome trim ring, it bends nicely to fit around the tunnel but I haven't got 'round to screwing it down.
